The Rock Point in Lyme Regis is seeking an enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our bustling kitchen. You’ll assist with food preparation, work as part of a motivated team, and ensure procedures and dish specifications are followed precisely.

This 18th‑century inn, refreshed by St Austell Family Group, offers great training and progression, a share of tips, 30% off food and 50% off overnight stays, meal allowance on long shifts, flexible working and other retail discounts.

The Rock Point is a wonderfully scenic inn that lies on Lyme Regis harbour, overlooking the surrounding bay and Jurassic coastline. You’ll be working in an 18th-century tavern that has been thoughtfully updated by St Austell Family Group to showcase character features that are stylishly adorned with mod cons. The Rock Point occupies a tranquil location at the heart of what many consider to be ‘The Pearl of Dorset’.

Are you an enthusiastic Commis chef with experience of working in a fast-paced environment? Join our talented kitchen team and you’ll be working alongside passionate people, cooking with locally sourced produce to provide quality food that delights our guests. As a commis chef you will be assisting in the preparation of food, working as part of the team ensuring the correct procedures are followed and specifications for each dish are precisely met.
