Job summary

The Londoner Hotel is seeking a Commis Chef to join its culinary team in London. You will ensure that the highest quality of food is prepared and served, following recipes precisely and assisting in overall quality control across the kitchen and sections.

You will be motivated and eager to learn new culinary skills from the senior chefs. You will ensure mise en place is done timely and that there is a sufficient quantity for the day ahead, while supporting senior members of the kitchen brigade

Qualifications

• Be passionate about food and keen to learn and develop new cooking techniques.
• Hold a level 2 food hygiene certificate.
• You will have the confidence to communicate with other chefs and build rapport amongst the team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality dishes following recipes precisely.
• Assist in quality control across kitchen sections.
• Maintain mise en place and ensure sufficient prep for the day ahead.
• Support senior kitchen team members at all times.
• Learn from senior chefs to develop culinary skills.

We are currently recruiting for a Commis Chef at The Londoner Hotel.
