Job summary

Old Gatehouse (92426) in Glasgow is seeking a Commis Chef to bring our pub menu to life. You will prep and create delicious meals, working with a passionate team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

If you have experience in a similar role or as a Kitchen Porter, and a passion for food, this is the role for you. We offer flexible hours, career pathway opportunities, and various perks including discounts and health screening.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role or as an experienced Kitchen Porter.
• Willingness to learn about kitchen areas and procedures.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prep, create, and contribute to the pub menu.
• Support the kitchen team with day-to-day operations.
• Ensure delivery of great, hot food to specification.

As Commis Chef:

• Experience in a similar Chef role or an experienced KP
• Know or be willing to learn about the kitchen areas and procedures
• Work within a team in a fast-paced environment
• Help to support the kitchen team with the day to day running of the kitchen
• Have a passion to deliver great, hot food to spec each and every time
