Job summary

Marston’s is seeking a Commis Chef to join our pub kitchen team. You will prep, create and bring our menu to life, learning new prepping skills and taking ownership of a section of the kitchen.

There’s potential to grow, with internal career pathways and real opportunities to progress toward Sous Chef while developing your cooking craft in a supportive, passionate environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role or as a Kitchen Porter (KP).
• Willingness to learn about kitchen areas and procedures.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Desire to deliver hot food to spec consistently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes to spec as part of pub menu.
• Assist with day-to-day kitchen operations and quality controls.
