Job summary

Marston’s is looking for a Commis Chef to join our team and help prep, create and bring our pub menu to life. You’ll learn and grow, owning tasks in a busy kitchen as you progress along our DNA pathway toward Sous Chef.

You’ll work in a supportive, lively environment with opportunities to develop skills, take on responsibility and enjoy genuine benefits while delivering great food to spec.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar chef role or as a kitchen porter.
• Willing to learn about kitchen areas and procedures.
• Ability to work within a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Prep, create and bring our pub menu to life.
• Support day-to-day running of the kitchen as part of a team.
• Deliver hot food to specification on every shift.

As Commis Chef:There’s plenty to get involved with whilst growing your career and developing skills that you can take home.

• Experience in a similar Chef role or an experienced KP
• Know or be willing to learn about the kitchen areas and procedures
• Work within a team in a fast-paced environment
• Help to support the kitchen team with the day to day running of the kitchen
• Have a passion to deliver great, hot food to spec each and every time
