Job summary

SSP is hiring a Commis Chef to join a fast-paced kitchen across brands in airports, stations and travel hubs. You will assist in cooking to spec, measuring ingredients and maintaining hygiene standards.

The role requires 18+ for certain tasks, and a background check and references. Paid at £13.43 per hour, with an extra £1.20 per hour for hours between midnight and 6AM, across flexible shifts from 2am to 11pm.

• Previous kitchen experience is desirable but we will provide full training if you are new to the field. Ambitious and a team player, you will be looking to progress your culinary career.

• Due to some responsibilities within the Commis Chef role, applicants will need to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts. Pay Rate: £13.43 per hour + as a little incentive, you will earn an extra £1.20 per hour for hours worked between midnight and 6AM, bringing your rate of pay to £14.63 per hour. Hours of operation are 2 am to 11 pm. Working flexibly across weekdays, weekends, bank and public holidays. Step into the buzz of hospitality!
