Job summary

The Royal Automobile Club in Epsom seeks a passionate Commis Chef to support senior chefs in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen.

Based at our Epsom clubhouse, you will learn and develop your skills in a luxury hospitality setting, upholding high standards of hygiene and teamwork. A 40-hour week with paid overtime awaits along with meals on duty and a supportive values-led environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar environment.
• Basic food hygiene skills.
• Completed NVQ levels 1 and 2 or working towards completion.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food under the supervision of senior chefs.
• Ensure all standard operating procedures are adhered to ensure a consistent delivery of excellence and positive member experience.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.

Purpose of the role

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Commis Chef to join our team, based at our Epsom clubhouse. As a Commis Chef, you will support senior chefs in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, while learning and developing your skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food under the supervision of senior chefs.
• Ensure all standard operating procedures are adhered to ensure a consistent delivery of excellence and positive member experience
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.
