Job summary

Upham Inns is hiring a Commis Chef in the United Kingdom. The role offers flexible shifts and a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.71, plus a share of Tronc that can exceed £4,000 annually.

You will prepare quality dishes, work under supervision, and follow health, safety and hygiene standards. The company provides meals discounts for you and up to 6 guests, hotel accommodation discounts, and access to a lifestyle card with thousands of discounts.

• Basic knowledge of all sections

• Ability to produce good quality basic food

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the food preparation process
• Cooking and preparing elements of high quality dishes
• Preparing vegetables, meats and fish
• Assisting other Chefs
• Helping with deliveries and restocking
• Assisting with stock rotation
• Cleaning stations
• Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards.
• Comply with all Food safety, fire, Health and safety, licensing and employment laws
