Job summary

Upham Inns is seeking a reliable Commis Chef to join our growing collection of premium pubs across Southern England. The role offers up to £12.21 per hour plus a share of Tronc (potentially up to £5,000 per year) and flexible shift patterns.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of all sections.
• Ability to work under supervision of a limited range.
• Ability to produce good quality basic food.
• Understanding of health and safety.
• Understanding of basic food hygiene practices.
• Good oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the food preparation process
• Cooking and preparing elements of high quality dishes
• Preparing vegetables, meats and fish
• Assisting other Chefs
• Helping with deliveries and restocking
• Assisting with stock rotation
• Cleaning stations
• Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards.
• Comply with all Food safety, fire, Health and safety, licensing and employment laws

quality local of the area, serving high quality fresh pub food in a cozy pub
ambience. Most of our pubs have some Charming Bedrooms as well. New to our
growing family is Harper’s Steakhouse, a new premium American Steakhouse brand
that we started rolling out last year.
