Job summary

The Scotsman Group, Scotland’s largest hospitality group, is seeking a Commis Chef to support senior chefs by preparing ingredients and maintaining quality.

You will work in a fast-paced setting, follow health and safety guidelines, and enjoy staff benefits like tips, Wagestream, and staff discounts across venues in Scotland. Flexible working hours include evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role or keen interest in pursuing a culinary career.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as required.

• Preparing ingredients for senior chefs, ensuring great attention to detail for the menu specs provided.

• Complying with all health and safety regulations and hygiene standards.

• Experience in a similar role or a keen interest in pursuing a culinary career.

• Availability to work shifts, including evenings and weekends as per business needs.
