Job summary

Carter Jonas in Cambridge is seeking a RICS Commercial Surveyor with post-qualification experience to join the Commercial Valuations team. The role is based in Cambridge with a requirement to be in the office a minimum of 2 days per week and a willingness to travel.

The team collaborates with planning, development and rural divisions, delivering valuation services across sectors. The successful candidate will deliver robust valuations, maintain client relationships, and contribute to business

Qualifications

• Qualified chartered surveyor with post-qualification experience in commercial property.
• Strong knowledge of commercial property markets and valuation standards.
• Willing to travel; driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Work within the valuation team in Cambridge to provide valuations for loan security, internal decision making, tax and financial reporting.
• Carry out inspections, calculate floor/site areas, perform research and prepare valuations and development appraisals.
• Identify new business opportunities to grow the valuation team across the Eastern region.
• Assist in major projects including asset valuations for public sector and educational clients.
• Deliver valuation reports in line with client instructions and RICS Valuation Standards.
