Carter Jonas is seeking an Associate Partner to join the Commercial Valuations team in Bristol. The role focuses on growing the national specialist valuation offering, developing client relationships, and delivering high-quality valuation reports across sectors.

You will work within the Bristol-based valuation team, taking on major projects, reporting to clients, and contributing to the firm’s growth plans with a partnership mindset.

Qualifications

• MRICS/FRICS accreditation and RICS Registered Valuer status.
• Experience delivering and managing multiple projects.
• Full UK driving licence; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality specialist valuation reports for a range of purposes.
• Grow national specialist valuation offering in healthcare, education, PBSA and other trading valuations.
• Identify new business opportunities across the commercial valuation sector.
• Assist in the delivery of major projects.
• manage client reporting with ample client contact.
• Deliver valuation reports in line with client instructions and RICS Valuation Standards.
• Contribute to profit centre business planning aligned with Carter Jonas vision.
• Contribute to efficient internal systems and processes to optimise IT and resources.

At Carter Jonas we're seeking an Associate Partner to work within Commercial Valuations.

Working as part of the established Commercial Valuations team in Bristol, you will play a key role in growing our specialist valuation offering, developing client relationships and contributing to the continued success of the team.

Our clients include leading lending institutions, local authorities, developers, public sector organisations, educational establishments, accountants and solicitors. We provide valuation advice across a broad range of commercial, residential and specialist property sectors. The specific role is within our specialist valuation team.

What You'll Be Doing

You will:

• Work within the existing valuation team in Bristol, providing high-quality specialist valuation reports for a range of purposes.
• Helping to grow our national specialist valuation offering in areas such as healthcare, education, PBSA and other trading valuations.
• Contribution to the growth of the business by identifying new business opportunities across the commercial valuation sector.
• Assist in the delivery of major projects.
• Financial and client reporting; ample client contact.
• Delivery of valuation reports in accordance with client instructions and RICS Valuation Standards.
• Participation in the ongoing development and implementation of an effective profit centre business plan developed in-line with the Carter Jonas vision.
• Take an active role in the development and implementation of efficient, 'best practice' internal systems and processes, optimising IT and other resources.

Essential Experience & Skills

• MRICS/FRICS.
• RICS Registered Valuer.
• Good working knowledge of relevant legislation.
• Adheres to the RICS Rules of Conduct or relevant professional body where appropriate.
• Experience of delivering and managing multiple projects.
• Competent with MS Office.
• Full UK driving licence.
• KEL or ARGUS Enterprise experience.

Desirables:

• Experienced in valuing a range of specialist asset types.
• Industry contacts.

The Team

You would be joining a fantastic partner led team of six valuers within the Bristol office, covering residential, commercial and specialist sectors. We have ambitious growth plans and finding a key person to join our specialist lending team is a central part of these plans.
