Job summary

Carter Jonas LLP is seeking a Rural Valuation Surveyor to join the Truro, Cornwall team. You will work with an experienced Rural Partner to deliver valuations for agricultural land, farms, equestrian properties, and country estates for a variety of purposes.

Flexible and hybrid working are supported, with opportunities to develop in emerging valuation sectors. The role requires RICS qualification, rural surveying experience, and a full driving licence.

Qualifications

• You will need to be RICS Qualified with experience in a rural surveying role.
• A member of the CAAV is preferred but not essential.
• A full driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Valuation of rural property for loan security, taxation, and expert witness purposes including farms, estates and residential property.
• Assisting in delivering financial reporting valuations for private office clients, banks, county councils, educational institutions, and government organisations.
• Valuation of a range of rural asset classes, including farms, rural estates, residential, commercial and energy assets.
