Job summary

Carter Jonas LLP in Cambridge seeks an experienced Management Surveyor to join the Commercial Property and Asset Management team. The role focuses on managing the firm’s portfolio and supporting client work, with opportunities to drive growth and visibility in the market.

The successful candidate will have a strong PQE, RICS/IWFM qualification, and proven ability to manage client relationships, lead on projects, and travel as required.

Qualifications

• Management surveying or facilities management background with significant post-qualification experience.
• Strong client management and communication skills; ability to drive business initiatives.
• Proactive and ambitious with coaching ability for junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Drive asset management opportunities to enhance property performance and value.
• Conduct property inspections and produce reports.
• Ensure H&S compliance in managed portfolios with facilities team.
• Coordinate and review planned maintenance works.
• Undertake lease negotiations and service charge budgets.
• Oversee rent and opex payments and client reporting.
