Our client is looking for an In-house Legal Counsel / Commercial Lawyer to join their highly regarded legal team. This is a varied role involving drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements. You will also be advising and assisting the business on a wide range of other legal matters.
The client is Berkshire based but offers flexibility with regards to hybrid working. The successful candidate would spend some time in Berkshire (costs covered by the company) in the first 1-3 months. After this period, the individual would work on a hybrid basis in their Manchester office.
The key to the role is managing the day-to-day legal matters faced by the business. A candidate with a strong career track record in commercial contracts law is required.

In-house experience is desirable, but the client considers private practice lawyers seeking to move in-house with strong business and commercial skills.
While 2-4 years PQE is the typical range, applications outside this range with relevant experience will also be considered.
