Job summary

Oculus Legal Group in Manchester is seeking a Commercial Solicitor to join their high-caliber team. You will handle non-contentious commercial matters for public bodies and private sector organisations, with a focus on major regeneration projects, drafting and negotiating complex agreements.

You will work in a hybrid arrangement, with two days in the office and three days from home, and enjoy a generous bonus scheme and work-life balance as part of a Top 50/Top 100 UK law firm environment.

Qualifications

• Experience advising on non-contentious commercial matters for public bodies or private sector clients.
• Strong drafting and negotiating skills for commercial agreements.
• Knowledge of procurement, subsidy control and outsourcing arrangements.

Commercial Solicitor | Manchester | £60,000–£90,000 + Bonus

Oculus are currently partnering with a prestigious Top 50 law firm to recruit an exceptional Commercial Solicitor to join its team in Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Solicitor to work on high-profile, complex matters for both public bodies and private sector organisations, with a particular focus on major regeneration projects.

The Opportunity:

You'll advise clients on a broad range of non-contentious commercial matters, including:

• Advising on major projects and regeneration schemes, including housing developments, town centre schemes and joint ventures


• Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and collaborations


• Advising on outsourcing arrangements and alternative service delivery models


• Providing specialist public law advice


• Advising on procurement and subsidy control


• Working with public bodies and private sector organisations on strategically important projects

Salary: £60,000–£90,000 DOE + bonus

Hybrid Working: 2 days in the Manchester office, 3 days from home
