Job summary

Oculus in Manchester is recruiting an experienced Commercial Solicitor to join a Top 50 law firm and work on non-contentious commercial matters with a focus on major regeneration projects.

You will advise on drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, outsourcing arrangements, and public law issues, while supporting procurement and subsidy controls. Hybrid work is available, with a balance of office and remote days.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with UK practising status
• Experience handling non-contentious commercial matters
• Experience on major regeneration projects or public sector work
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills

Commercial Solicitor | Manchester | £60,000–£90,000 + Bonus

Oculus are currently partnering with a prestigious Top 50 law firm to recruit an exceptional Commercial Solicitor to join its team in Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Solicitor to work on high-profile, complex matters for both public bodies and private sector organisations, with a particular focus on major regeneration projects.

The Opportunity:

You'll advise clients on a broad range of non-contentious commercial matters, including:

• Advising on major projects and regeneration schemes, including housing developments, town centre schemes and joint ventures


• Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and collaborations


• Advising on outsourcing arrangements and alternative service delivery models


• Providing specialist public law advice


• Advising on procurement and subsidy control


• Working with public bodies and private sector organisations on strategically important projects

Salary: £60,000–£90,000 DOE + bonus

Hybrid Working: 2 days in the Manchester office, 3 days from home
