Lookers Gateshead Ford is recruiting for an ambitious and experienced Sales Executive to join our friendly and dedicated team on site. Specialising in business-to-business sales, you will collaborate with our passionate Sales team to deliver Lookers' first-class customer service.

As part of our hardworking sales team, you will be a team player with exceptional communication skills, capable of building rapport with colleagues and customers. You will join one of the top automotive retailers in the UK and report to the CMA Commercial Sales Manager, who will support your professional growth, helping you develop your skills and establish a strong career within the industry.

Our Sales Executives are the key points of contact, paying close attention to detail to understand customers' wants and needs.

Responsibilities

1. Communicating with customers via email, telephone, and in person
2. Suggesting suitable vehicles based on customer needs
3. Arranging and accompanying customers on test drives
4. Negotiating the final price for the sale
5. Completing the relevant paperwork for each sale

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be self-motivated, and passionate about their work. You will be expected to meet targets, so ambition and a hard-working attitude are essential.

Previous experience in a similar role and within the motor trade is preferred but not essential, as we are always looking for new talent to join our team. You must hold a full UK driving license, as you may be required to drive some of the most prestigious vans on the market.
