Commercial Relationships Manager (Insurance / Healthcare)

Working for an impressive organisation who are well-known throughout the UK, we are recruiting a Commercial Relationships Manager to join their team. It's a fantastic opportunity where you'll be managing a team of 2, but able to make an impact for the business by driving strategic relationships, spotting opportunities for growth and keeping up to date with industry changes and trends.

Location: Ideally you'll be based near London, however we are open to UK applications (but you will be required to travel to London each week/every other week)

Salary: Up to £90,000 per annum plus discretionary bonus

What you'll be doing in the role day to day

  • You'll be responsible for developing and managing long-term relationships with insurers.
  • Assist with the development of commercial proposals and new and existing product offerings
  • Understand the strategic priorities of your clients and ensure they align with your employer objectives.
  • Ensure successful execution of agreements by supporting with transactional and operational delivery
  • Managing the resolution of any issues
  • Working in collaboration with other departments internally to optimise agreement performance
  • Responsible for reporting, analysis and monthly activity data to support decision making
  • Tracking KPI performance and providing commercial insights
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the industry dynamics and trends
  • Offer advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on any significant industry changes, competitor initiatives and any emerging opportunities.
  • Manage 2 direct reports day to day ensuring their development and effective delivery of team objectives.

What experience and skillset will you need?

  • Experience in commercial roles with significant stakeholder management and contract negotiation exposure.
  • Track record of managing customer relationships and improving commercial performance.
  • Strong understanding of financial pricing and modelling.
  • Proven ability to analyse complex data and make informed decisions quickly.
  • Experience leading projects and driving process improvement.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, comfortable influencing at all levels.
  • Operational delivery in a matrixed, multi-site environment.
  • High energy and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Experience within the healthcare/insurance sector is preferred but not essential.
