Job summary

Our client in Slough is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage financials from start to finish on key projects. You will handle tendering, negotiate tenders, prepare tender documents and liaise with sub‑contractors through final accounts.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of QS experience with a social housing main contractor and a relevant degree, plus strong commercial acumen. This is a full‑time on‑site role within a growing property services team.

Qualifications

• Experience as QS for a Social Housing Main Contractor
• Minimum 5–10 years experience
• Degree qualified in Commercial Management
• Exceptional commercial acumen

Responsibilities

• Taking full financial account of projects from start to finish.
• Tendering and negotiating tenders.
• Putting Tender Documents together.
• Liaise with sub-contractors from day one through to final accounts.
• Build relationships and manage First Principal tendering.
• Work on Social Housing Frameworks and tendering pricing
