Job summary
DGWGO Limited is seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join our Flooring and Construction teams. The role covers pre-construction estimating and commercial management on live projects, with site surveys, take-offs and tender submissions.
You should have experience in QS or Estimating, strong IT and Excel skills, and hold a full UK driving license. We offer a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, pension and generous leave.
Qualifications
- Experience in Quantity Surveying or Estimating or similar commercial construction role.
- Strong understanding of construction costs and measurements.
- Competent with site surveys, measurements and cost control.
- Proficient IT skills and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Attend sites to survey and measure potential projects.
- Prepare estimates, quotations and tender submissions.
- Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Build labour, material and subcontract costs.
- Manage project budgets and monitor costs.
- Prepare valuations and applications for payment.
- Review subcontractor applications and progress payments.
- Support procurement and subcontract orders.
