Job summary

Adjacency Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Legal Assistant for the Commercial Property team. The role involves supporting a Partner, progressing property files, and aiding residential property work where needed.

You will maintain files, chase searches, liaise with clients daily, and handle AML checks with accuracy and efficiency. Excellent communication and organisational abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience (12 months +) working in Commercial Property.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with AML and client identification requirements.
• Experience of maintaining accurate case files.
• Highly organised with strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Responsibilities

• Assist in the progression of property files
• Requesting and chasing searches and other documents
• Liaise with clients daily and keep the files up to date
• Support with exchange and completion activities (including post-completion)
• Undertake tasks such as opening and closing of files, obtaining ID, undertaking AML checks
• Preparing all correspondence and documentation in a timely fashion
