Job summary

Adjacency Recruitment Group is assisting a respected UK law firm in recruiting a Legal Assistant for the Commercial Property department. The role focuses on supporting the Partner and providing ad hoc assistance to the residential property team, within an established department with a loyal local and regional client base.

The successful candidate will have at least 12 months’ experience in Commercial Property, excellent organisational and communication skills, and familiarity with AML and client

Qualifications

• Previous experience (12 months +) in Commercial Property
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Familiarity with AML and client identification requirements
• Experience maintaining accurate case files
• Highly organised with strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in the progression of property files
• Request and chase searches and other documents
• Liaise with clients daily and keep files up to date
• Support with exchange and completion activities (including post-completion)
• Undertake tasks such as opening and closing files, obtaining ID, AML checks
• Prepare all correspondence and documentation in a timely fashion
