We are seeking an enthusiastic and solutions-driven Commercial Planning Assistant to join our Supply Chain team. The role involves maintaining stock levels of defined portfolios, assisting in creating promotional forecasts, communicating upweighted volumes to vendors in a timely manner, and ensuring target availability across designated sub-categories for all channels and territories. The goal is to guarantee great availability daily and ensure promotions and new range availability are delivered at the required levels.

The Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure purchase orders are raised and communicated promptly, aligned with vendor lead times.
  • Manage the open order book, prioritizing purchase orders to minimize out-of-stocks and drive availability online and in-store.
  • Deliver promotional availability to the required levels.
  • Ensure timely range review availability to support success.
  • Manage and close POs efficiently.
  • Maintain key documents with current information, such as open order book and co-pack ordering model.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure they meet performance standards outlined in the vendor manual.
Location

This role is based in Nuneaton, with occasional travel to our London Hub or other H&B locations. We support hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week.

The Person

Key Requirements:

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with category teams and warehouse.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with vendors.
  • Ability to collaborate with the wider Commercial Planning team to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data interpretation and manipulation.
