Job summary

Aviva is seeking a Legal Counsel - Commercial & Outsourcing in the UK. You will guide complex supplier, technology and outsourcing agreements and collaborate with procurement, risk, data protection and information security teams to enable innovation and growth.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or legal executive with experience advising on and negotiating commercial contracts, including procurement and supply chain agreements.
• Experience supporting technology-related contracts, such as outsourcing, software, SaaS, cloud, data and AI arrangements.
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Join Aviva's Commercial & Outsourcing Legal Team, supporting technology, procurement and strategic business initiatives.
• Provide legal advice on supplier, technology and outsourcing contracts and work with Procurement, Risk, Data Protection and Information Security.
• Help deliver commercially focused solutions that support Aviva's objectives and develop contract standards.
