Job Summary: As the Commercial and Store Excellence Retail Manager at Smartech, you will play a critical role in supporting the Store Director in leading our Selfridges Concession. You will help drive excellence in customer experience, sales performance, and operational execution while ensuring a seamless and engaging retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership & Development: Support the Store Director in leading, mentoring, and motivating the team to achieve excellence in performance and collaboration. Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training to develop a knowledgeable and customer-focused team. Foster a positive, results-driven culture with clear goals and continuous coaching.
  • Sales & Commercial Execution: Implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and exceed targets. Analyze sales data and optimize performance. Identify business opportunities, adapting strategies to market trends and customer needs.
  • Customer Experience & Engagement: Ensure an interactive, immersive, and customer-first shopping experience. Build long-term customer relationships, driving loyalty and repeat business. Champion a service-driven mindset, ensuring exceptional interactions at every touchpoint.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, compliance, and brand standards. Assist with scheduling and team positioning to maximize efficiency during peak periods. Maintain an organized and well-executed retail environment that reflects Smartech’s innovation and quality.
  • Performance & Business Management: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with the Store Director and senior leadership to align store initiatives with company goals. Continuously refine processes to enhance efficiency, profitability, and customer engagement.
Requirements & Preferences:
  • 5+ years in retail management, preferably in luxury, innovation, or tech-driven environments.
  • Proven success in supporting high-performing teams and driving sales.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Ability to implement business objectives into actionable plans.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving retail landscape.
  • Interest in technology and innovation is a plus.
Other Details:

Start Date: May 2025
Salary: £45k–£50k plus commission
Job Hours: Full-Time
Location: London HQ
