Job summary

Inspired Thinking Group (ITG) seeks a Commercial Manager to join our Central Services team. You will support renewals, tenders and commercial projects with rigorous analysis, modelling and project management to protect and improve margins.

You will work alongside the Group Commercial Director, using AI tools to build robust commercial models and drive profitable client outcomes for strategic and core accounts in the UK.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in a commercially focused role (typically 3+ years).
• Experience in the marketing industry, in either a marketing agency or content production company.
• Strong commercial modelling and analysis capability.
• Excellent stakeholder management with Account Teams, Finance and Legal.
• Ability to turn analysis into client-ready recommendations and support negotiations.
• Fluency with AI tools from day one, improving accuracy over 3 months.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Renewals and proposals: analyse renewals, model scenarios and manage the commercial elements of proposals.
• Tenders and RFPs: provide commercial modelling, pricing and deal structuring.
• Pricing and profit performance: monitor profitability and flag margin erosion early.
• Commercial projects: own assigned projects and develop business cases (AI/Cost governance).
• Automation and AI: use approved AI tools to build models and reporting, verify outputs.
• Ways of working: agree scope with Group Commercial Director and maintain records for handover.
• Client responsibilities: support strategic and core accounts with analysis and delivery.
