Job summary

Woodland Consultancy Services is seeking a Commercial Manager for a 3-year contract in Central Glasgow with a 3-days-a-week on-site presence and two remote days. The role offers an hourly rate of £75 (Ltd company) and requires strong experience in nuclear/defence sectors and tendering.

The successful candidate will lead procurement strategy, contract management plans and ITT processes, driving competitive bids, commercial evaluations and supplier negotiations to secure best value.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Commercial Manager in the nuclear or defence industries.
• Experience in pre-contract and tendering within major infrastructure projects.
• MRICS and/or MCIPS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategies and contract management plans.
• Oversee ITT processes and support compliant tender submissions.
• Manage end-to-end tender process including documentation, evaluations and negotiations.
• Collaborate with bid, design and delivery teams to achieve best value.
