Commercial Manager – Sponsorship (Conference Background)
Remote – UK
Base up to £55,000 + OTE £100k
Key responsibilities:
- Sales strategy and operations: Review and implement structured sales strategies to support performance, scalable across the sales team as the business expands.
- Sales management: Meet sales KPIs related to activity, revenue, and account management.
- Product conception and delivery: Represent clients internally to enhance product commercial performance.
- Direct sales: Lead sales campaigns personally.
- Client management: Oversee key account management and rebook meetings, ensuring objectives are documented and met.
- Commercial analysis: Analyze marketplaces, categorize companies, and research new leads.
- Sales marketing: Collaborate with production, content, and marketing teams to develop and execute sales strategies using business intelligence.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 5+ years in a commercial role within B2B events/media, with high-value solution sales experience.
- Performance: Proven track record of exceeding targets; perceived as a high performer.
- Product experience: Sales of live, face-to-face events, webinars, reports, sponsorships, and exhibition booths.
- Sales knowledge: Understanding of sales techniques, styles, and training experience.
- Strategy: Experience in creating and executing sales plans and contributing to business strategy.
