Commercial Manager – Sponsorship (Conference Background)

Key responsibilities:
- Sales strategy and operations: Review and implement structured sales strategies to support sales performance, ensuring reproducibility across the sales team as the business grows.
- Sales management: Achieve sales KPIs related to activity, revenue, and account management.
- Product conception and delivery: Represent clients in internal discussions to enhance the commercial performance of products.
- Direct sales: Lead sales campaigns personally.
- Client management: Oversee key account management, ensure client objectives are documented and met, and manage rebook meetings.
- Commercial analysis: Analyze vendor marketplaces, categorize companies, and research new sales leads.
- Sales marketing: Collaborate with production, content, and marketing teams to develop and implement sales marketing strategies using business intelligence.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 5+ years in a commercial role within a B2B events/media business, with experience in high-value B2B solution sales.
- Performance: Proven track record of meeting commercial targets and recognized as a high performer.
- Product sales experience: Experience selling live events, digital products like webinars or reports, and large B2B events including sponsorships and exhibition booths.
- Sales knowledge: Understanding of various sales techniques and experience in training sales teams is advantageous.
- Strategy development: Ability to build and execute sales plans and contribute to business strategy.
