Job description

URL has been procured to assist one of its most respected clients in sourcing a high-profile Commercial Manager to join its highly successful TSC contract.

Client Overview

The client is a worldwide infrastructure business with many blue-chip clients. They have an enviable reputation for engineering excellence.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will have experience leading a commercial team and possess excellent knowledge of the NEC Contract, particularly the Term Services Contract.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead and develop a team responsible for maintaining contract documentation, instructions, early warnings, and compensation events.
  2. Manage risk and opportunity effectively, supporting the Business Unit Manager in risk management.
  3. Communicate effectively and handle commercial matters pragmatically.
  4. Have in-depth knowledge of highway maintenance contracts.
  5. Uphold the company's Vision and Values, ensuring team compliance.
  6. Adhere to health and safety procedures and promote the same within the team.
Qualifications and Experience

Demonstrable experience working for a contractor is essential. The candidate should hold a Degree or Post Graduate qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
