We're Hiring: Commercial Manager

Are you a commercially savvy professional with a passion for driving value and ensuring contractual excellence? We're seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join our Senior Team and lead the way in contract and commercial compliance across a diverse FM portfolio.

Your Role:

As Commercial Manager, you'll be a key player in shaping our commercial landscape. Working closely with senior leadership and operational teams, you'll provide expert advice on contractual obligations, ensure compliance with SLAs and payment mechanisms, and mitigate commercial risks. Your insights will influence strategic decisions across the business and help us maintain our position at the forefront of the sector.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading on contract and commercial compliance, ensuring due diligence and risk management.
  • Advising internal and external stakeholders on commercial issues and regulatory developments.
  • Supporting operations teams to embed robust frameworks for contractual performance and compliance.
  • Guiding stakeholder engagement and negotiation to support business objectives.
  • Leading on commercial input for new opportunities, supporting Sales and Legal teams.
  • Managing contractual claims and disputes, ensuring equitable resolutions.
  • Staying on top of sector developments, identifying risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Supporting performance reviews including benchmarking and value testing.
  • Ensuring completion of mandatory training for both yourself and direct reports.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience managing commercial frameworks within FM, including both traditional and PFI contracts.

In-depth understanding of payment mechanisms, SLAs, KPIs, and method statements.

Strong legal and regulatory knowledge, including GDPR compliance.

Experience working on complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

Skilled in negotiation, risk management, and project management principles.

Health Care sector experience (or sector-related knowledge) is highly desirable.

A collaborative business partner with the ability to influence at all levels.
