Salary: GBP75,000 - GBP85,000 + Attractive Bonus (Profit Share)

Company Overview
Our client is a high-growth engineering business providing end-to-end full turnkey infrastructure into Fibre, Renewables, and emerging Data Centres across the UK and mainland Europe.

The Role
This is a pivotal hire for the business. Reporting into senior leadership, the Commercial Manager will own the financial and contractual strategy across projects particularly in the fibre and renewable sectors. You'll play a key role in scaling UK and Europe operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead commercial activities across fibre and renewable infrastructure projects
  • Manage NEC contracts, ensuring compliance, profitability, and risk control
  • Own project pricing and budgeting from tender through to final delivery
  • Build and lead a UK commercial team
  • Develop and implement scalable processes to support growth
  • Work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal delivery teams
  • Support the business as it expands into new sectors like data centres

Ideal Candidate
  • Strong experience with NEC contracts and infrastructure projects (fibre or solar preferred)
  • Commercially minded with a background in pricing, contract management, and project delivery
  • Confident in building and improving systems and processes
  • A natural leader comfortable stepping up, building teams, and taking ownership
  • Ambitious, entrepreneurial, and keen to grow into a Director-level role
  • Adaptable and collaborative, with the ability to work across UK and European operations
