Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager - RPS, Manchester

RPS is seeking a Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager with proven experience in delivering challenging projects to join our rapidly growing team in Manchester city centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cost planning and producing cost plans for commercial purposes
  • Preparation of tender documents
  • Preparation of reports throughout project lifecycle
  • Pre and post contract duties on various public and commercial projects
  • Site visits for interim valuations and final accounts
  • Acting as employer’s agent or providing contract administration services
Candidate Requirements
  • Working knowledge of JCT Contracts
  • Understanding of construction contract principles
  • Desire to learn and develop professionally
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong report writing and communication skills
  • Health and Safety awareness
