  • Oversee the management and conversion of enquiries for bedrooms, conferences, meetings, weddings, golf events and social functions.
  • Ensure all enquiries receive a timely and professional response within agreed service standards.
  • Conduct regular pipeline reviews, diary audits and forecasting analysis to maximise revenue opportunities.
  • Coordinate weekly commercial meetings and monthly departmental meetings, presenting performance reports and action plans.
  • Support the promotion and marketing of conferences, meetings and events, including weddings and festive events, while developing and delivering an annual events calendar designed to drive footfall.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, wedding suppliers, event organisers, golf societies and corporate clients.
  • Ensure pricing, packages and promotional activity are correctly implemented across all systems.
  • Works with the director of Sales to monitor event profitability, space utilisation and guest satisfaction.
  • Oversee event contracting, deposits, function details and operational handovers.
  • Review post-event performance, guest feedback, rebooking opportunities and account development plans.
  • Maintain accurate data within CRM, PMS and commercial systems to support forecasting and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, data protection regulations, payment security procedures and health and safety requirements.

  • Strong people management skills with a track record of coaching and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience using hotel PMS, CRM and event management systems including knowledge of Opera sales and catering.
  • A highly organised and proactive approach with exceptional attention to detail.
