Job Title: Contract Commercial Manager
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Contract Commercial Manager to join the team supporting one of the largest and highest profile accounts in our UK business. The role will be hybrid, combining home and office-based work, primarily from our Leeds Gateway office, with some travel around the UK.
As a Contract Commercial Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing commercial support to delivery operations, focusing on risk minimization and contributing to CBRE's profitable growth through expert commercial knowledge and negotiation techniques.
- Line management of a Change Co-Ordinator.
- Owning the commercial relationship with the customer, collaborating with internal teams in operations, procurement, and finance.
- Leading the implementation of robust commercial processes to ensure contractual compliance and policy adherence.
- Managing contract changes promptly and efficiently.
- Negotiating future contract renewals/extensions.
- Delivering commercial awareness training to operational teams.
- Providing commercial guidance to support the strategic development of the company.
The role also involves:
- Acting as a technical specialist on commercial issues such as contract terms, commercial modeling, change management, and supplier terms.
- Educating operational teams on commercial matters.
- Building and maintaining a commercial relationship with the customer, including SLA management and dispute resolution.
- Serving as a trusted advisor between operational and support teams.
- Ensuring project tenders are commercially sound and aligned with governance.
- Supporting procurement negotiations and supplier contract agreements.
- Maintaining profit margins through proper contractual application.
- Developing key customer contacts to foster long-term relationships.
- Supporting project development and resolving disputes to prevent escalation.
- Assisting in supplier management to meet strategic needs and promote preferred suppliers.
