Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimise product performance on platforms, focusing on availability, pricing, and content.
  • Build and strengthen relationships within customer accounts by understanding the customer, market, and wider industry.
  • Drive sales growth and achieve targets through leadership of the Commercial team.
  • Lead customer relationship development directly and through the team.
  • Maximise ROI through on-platform presence, media activity, and promotional execution.
  • Support planning and execution of online media investments, aligned with commercial priorities for strong ROI.
  • Track, evaluate, and optimise campaign, promotional, and content performance to improve conversion and sales.
  • Monitor availability and service performance, resolving risks.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to align demand and supply.
  • Develop and execute promotional and trading plans to maintain competitive positioning.
  • Use data and insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and translate into action.
  • Manage profit with Finance to protect margins ahead of discussions.
  • Ensure strong communication across functions supporting the account.

Commercial Manager - E-Commerce - Food
  • Annual Salary: £45,000

We are seeking a dedicated Commercial Manager to act as a customer expert and strategic partner, driving profitable growth and development. This role is pivotal in maintaining a strong, positive presence within the customer base and requires a robust focus on e-commerce execution, including availability, on-platform presence, and media return.

Day-to-day of the role
