Job summary

Cherry Professional in Lincoln is seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant to join the finance team and help shape business decisions. You will produce monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts while delivering insightful analysis to support strategic planning.

You will work closely with senior leadership, influencing reporting processes and driving efficiencies across the finance function in a growing Lincolnshire business.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualifications, actively studying towards qualification, or QBE finance professional
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Advanced Excel capability and confidence with financial data
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders across the business

Responsibilities

• Producing monthly management accounts and performance reporting
• Preparing budgets, forecasts and financial plans
• Delivering meaningful financial analysis to support decision-making
• Supporting senior stakeholders with commercial and operational insights
• Monitoring business performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Managing month-end processes, reconciliations and balance sheet controls
• Supporting cash flow planning and broader financial management activities
• Assisting with statutory and regulatory reporting requirements
• Contributing to development of systems, controls and reporting processes
• Driving efficiencies across the finance function
