Job summary

Cherry Professional - Relationship Led Recruitment is recruiting a Senior Management Accountant in Derby with hybrid work options. You will own a portfolio of management accounts, deliver monthly reporting, provide commercial insight and lead a small finance team as part of a high-performing function.

You will have ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification, strong management accounting and financial reporting experience, and be comfortable engaging with operational stakeholders.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification required.
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting skills.
• Confident communicator with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of a portfolio of management accounts.
• Full P&L responsibility, with analysis and commentary.
• Preparation and review of month-end reporting packs.
• Balance sheet reconciliations and supporting documentation.
• Support the month-end process across the finance function.
• Lead and develop junior team members.
• Drive process improvements and maintain strong controls.
