Cherry Professional is partnering with a Lincolnshire business to appoint a commercially minded Management Accountant. The role focuses on providing financial insight, partnering with stakeholders and supporting strategic planning.

In this Lincoln office-based role you’ll produce monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts and meaningful analysis to influence decision making, while driving reporting improvements and process efficiencies.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualifications, be actively studying towards qualification, or be an experienced Qualified by Experience (QBE) finance professional
• Previous experience within a Management Accountant or similar finance role
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Advanced Excel capability and confidence working with financial data
• The ability to build relationships with stakeholders across the business
• A proactive approach and genuine interest in improving processes and performance

Responsibilities

• Producing monthly management accounts and performance reporting
• Preparing budgets, forecasts and financial plans
• Delivering meaningful financial analysis to support decision-making
• Supporting senior stakeholders with commercial and operational insights
• Monitoring business performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Managing month-end processes, reconciliations and balance sheet controls
• Supporting cash flow planning and broader financial management activities
• Assisting with statutory and regulatory reporting requirements
• Contributing to the development of systems, controls and reporting processes
• Playing an active role in driving efficiencies across the finance function

You'll likely have:
