Job summary

NXTGEN is recruiting a Management Accountant for a successful and growing organisation based in Ipswich. This role offers a broad mix of month-end reporting, budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis to move beyond numbers and influence business performance.

You will join an established finance team supporting a multi-site operation, collaborating with senior finance colleagues and operational stakeholders to improve management information, visibility over costs and emerging trends, and to

Qualifications

• Experience producing monthly accounts.
• Comfortable with stakeholders outside finance.
• Part-qualified, newly qualified, or qualified by experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts from start to finish.
• Prepare journals, accruals and prepayments.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations.
• Deliver variance analysis with commentary.
• Support budgets and reforecasting.
• Monitor costs, revenue and performance vs budget.
• Provide reporting for senior stakeholders.
