NXTGEN is partnering with a well-established manufacturing business to recruit a Management Accountant for an initial 12-month fixed-term contract. You will join the operational finance team, combining management accounting, financial analysis and business partnering to support operational leaders with commercial insights.

Qualifications

• Be qualified, part-qualified or actively studying towards CIMA, ACCA or ACA.
• Bring relevant management accounting, analysis or finance business-partnering experience.
• Be confident working with operational and non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn complex data into clear information.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of weekly and monthly management accounts and reporting.
• Analyse operational costs, performance and variances and translate into commercial insight.
• Partner with production, process and engineering leaders to understand financial performance.
• Assist budgeting and reforecasting across the site within deadlines.
• Review large data sets to identify trends, risks and cost-saving opportunities.
• Support continuous-improvement initiatives and validate financial benefits.
• Provide input on capital expenditure and its impact on forecasts.
• Attend operational meetings as finance representative and provide challenge.
