G2 Legal Limited is recruiting a Commercial & Civil Litigation Solicitor in Barnsley to join its Dispute Resolution team. The role suits an NQ to 2 years' PQE solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive, with exposure to a broad range of matters.

You will manage a varied caseload, advise on disputes, draft pleadings, and contribute to business development in a supportive environment with flexible/hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive in England and Wales.
• NQ to 2 years' PQE with experience in commercial litigation.
• Strong knowledge of civil procedure and dispute resolution.
• Excellent communication and client care skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of commercial litigation matters.
• Advise on contractual, director/shareholder, partnership disputes and debt recovery.
• Deal with professional negligence, business torts, construction disputes and contentious property matters.
• Represent clients through litigation, mediation, arbitration and other dispute resolution.
• Draft pleadings, witness statements, correspondence and settlement agreements.
• Provide practical, commercially focused advice to a broad range of clients.
• Develop strong client relationships and contribute to business development.

A progressive and growing law firm in Barnsley is looking to recruit a Commercial & Civil Litigation Solicitor to join its expanding Dispute Resolution team.

This is a great opportunity for an NQ to 2 years' PQE Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to build their experience across a broad range of commercial and civil litigation matters, working closely with an experienced Partner within the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of predominantly commercial litigation matters
• Advise on contractual disputes, director and shareholder disputes, partnership disputes and debt recovery
• Deal with professional negligence, business torts, construction disputes and contentious property matters
• Represent clients through litigation, mediation, arbitration and other forms of dispute resolution
• Draft pleadings, witness statements, correspondence and settlement agreements
• Provide practical, commercially focused advice to a broad range of clients
• Develop strong client relationships and contribute to business development activities

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive in England and Wales
• NQ to 2 years' PQE with experience in commercial litigation
• Good knowledge of civil procedure and dispute resolution
• Strong analytical, drafting and negotiation skills
• Confident managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision
• Commercially aware with a proactive and solutions focused approach
• Excellent communication and client care skills
