Location: Bristol | Full-time | Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a solicitor or associate solicitor to join the commercial litigation team at a leading regional firm with a national outlook in their Bristol office.

They are seeking a qualified lawyer from 1 PQE + with experience in commercial dispute resolution gained at a well-regarded national or regional law firm.

About the Role

You will work on a diverse caseload of high-value and complex matters.

• Handling a range of general commercial disputes
• Managing claims involving professional negligence, commercial contracts, and warranty disputes
• Advising on issues arising from corporate acquisitions

Key Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload and handle files effectively
• Advise, build and maintain client relationships
• Contribute to marketing initiatives and attend networking events
• Begin developing a sector specialism
• Assist with larger projects and meet deadlines reliably
• Support junior team members and contribute to a collaborative team culture

What experience is required

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with relevant experience in dispute resolution
• Previous experience handling commercial disputes independently (with supervision where needed)
• Ability to delegate work appropriately and manage junior colleagues
• Excellent communication skills and a strong team ethic
• Ambition to grow professionally within a progressive, client-focused firm
