Job summary

Accenture seeks a highly experienced Commercial Lead to join a team supporting major hyperscale data centre projects across the UK, Germany, and Norway. The role concentrates on commercial strategy, contracts, and client relationship management across multi-site deployments.

The selected candidate will defend claims, manage change, and lead cross‑functional teams to ensure financial performance and project success in a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualifications

• Legal right to work in the UK, Germany, or Norway.
• Proven experience leading commercial teams on major construction or engineering projects.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills, with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience managing contracts, defending claims, and reporting commercial change.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on project delivery.
• Experience operating in international and multicultural project environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage commercial teams across multiple project locations, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client expectations.
• Act as the primary commercial point of contact for client stakeholders, building strong relationships and maintaining effective communication throughout project lifecycles.
• Defend downstream claims and manage change, ensuring contractual obligations are met and accurately reported.
• Provide strategic commercial oversight while remaining hands-on with key project activities to protect financial performance and long-term success.
• Foster a positive, high-performing culture that encourages collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Support key account management activities and contribute to growth of data centre business across the EMEA region.
