Job Description:

Our client is an international law firm with a reputation for excellence, headquartered in the City of London with offices across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. As the firm grows globally, there are opportunities for a mid-level Compliance & Risk Counsel – Commercial Lawyer to join the internal legal, compliance, and risk team.

This team handles commercial, compliance, and governance issues. The role reports to the Head of Corporate Risk & Governance and involves working on commercial agreements, procurement, corporate structure changes, and advising on risk and governance matters.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years PQE in corporate or commercial law, strong academic background, and training from a leading law firm. The role requires independence, a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with fee-earners, stakeholders, and external parties. There is also an opportunity to supervise a paralegal and develop managerial skills.

The position offers a high-quality work environment, supervision by senior lawyers, and career development prospects. The firm has a hybrid working policy, with 60% in-office work in London.
