Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid)

Purpose of the role:

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Insurance Sales Manager who will be responsible for leading, developing, and growing the New Business Sales team. As part of the leadership team, you will report to the Managing Director and support the implementation of growth plans. Your results-oriented approach will drive the team to success. Working across our Group Companies, you will collaborate with sector specialists to leverage our unique business model and provide the team with access to warm leads. You will shape the direction of the New Business Sales team and make a significant impact on the business.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Lead, develop, and manage the commercial insurance sales team (new business).
  2. Contribute to and manage the commercial insurance sales team targets.
  3. Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to drive growth.
  4. Collaborate with the marketing team to build a strong company brand.
  5. Support, train, and mentor sales team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
  6. Produce MI reports to monitor KPIs such as conversion rates, leads, and average deal size.
  7. Identify opportunities for income growth and expansion.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed new business sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance.
  • Excellent relationship-building, influencing, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to support and mentor others to enhance performance.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and economic principles related to policies and claims.
  • Impeccable customer service and communication skills.
  • CII Certificate or Diploma qualifications.
