Role Description
The Sales Manager will operate on a consultancy basis (invoicing for services) to lead client acquisition, revenue growth, and long-term client relationships in the UK. The role offers a hybrid of strategic planning and execution, with remote flexibility and performance incentives. Reporting to the Head of Sales, the role collaborates closely with marketing and account management teams. It is a full-time, remote position, open exclusively to UK-based candidates.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets in the UK.
- Identify and prospect potential clients via outreach, networking, and research tools like HubSpot and Apollo.
- Engage prospects through various channels to understand their needs.
- Conduct meetings and presentations to communicate the agency's value proposition.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and performance terms.
- Manage the transition from client acquisition to account management, focusing on retention.
- Coordinate with marketing and account teams to align campaigns with client goals.
- Provide sales forecasts and performance updates to leadership.
- Use CRM tools to track leads, sales, and campaign performance.
- Conduct market research to inform sales strategies.
- Monitor competitor activities and sector trends, providing strategic recommendations.
- Guide clients through onboarding, invoicing, and project scoping.
- Partner with account teams to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or relevant industry experience.
- 3-5 years of proven B2B sales experience, preferably in marketing, advertising, or digital agencies.
- Strong understanding of growth marketing and digital services.
- Successful track record in acquiring and expanding high-value client accounts.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms like HubSpot or Salesforce.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Results-driven, resilient, and self-motivated with a strategic mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Proactive, entrepreneurial thinking, and ability to work across time zones.
