Cowell Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Commercial Account Executive / Development Executive for their Cardiff branch. Based in Whitchurch, you will build relationships with existing clients while driving new business across a diverse portfolio from sole traders to corporate clients.

You will work with the Development Director to identify opportunities, deliver tailored insurance solutions, and use a consultative approach to client risk.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial insurance and winning new B2B business.
• Strong networking and market engagement to build a local presence.
• Consultative approach to advising clients on risk and insurance solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with commercial B2B clients across sectors.
• Drive new business through local engagement, networking, marketing, and face-to-face meetings.
• Partner with the Development Director to identify market opportunities and deliver tailored insurance solutions.
• Ask the right questions and listen actively to understand client risks.
• Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities while delivering strong client outcomes.
