Responsibilities

• Meet Renewal Retention and/or New Business targets to support budget/KPIs.
• Conduct thorough pre-renewal reviews, identify client needs and gaps in cover.
• Perform insurer/market reviews and recommend suitable policies.
• Invite policies within regulatory guidelines and ensure renewals on time.
• Review client documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure documents are issued within contract timelines.
• Discuss additional covers with clients as appropriate.
• Oversee debt management and flag any bad debt to line manager.

Your purpose will be to achieve the required renewals and new business results and contribute towards team/individual targets, whilst offering a bespoke high level service, adhering to company procedures and regulatory requirements.This is a long term and progressive opportunity that will provide stability, enjoyment and satisfaction at a leading and reputable regional insurance broking hub.The day to day:Meet and deliver against your agreed Renewal Retention and/or New Business Targets, contributing towards the teams overall budget targets & KPI’sEnsure you carry out thorough pre renewal reviews with your clients annually, identify customer needs, highlight any shortfalls in cover and advise your client accordinglyConduct a full insurer/market review for your client and then recommend the most suitable policy which protects the customers needs.Invite all policies within regulatory guidelines and ensure policies are renewed, on or before the renewal date.Review client documentation and ensure its accuracy and that it meets the client’s needs.Ensure documents are issued within contract certain timelines.Identify and discuss with your clients any recommended and relevant additional coversDebt Management to ensure all monies are collected and allocated appropriately and keep line manager informed of any current, potential or perceived problems with bad debt.What’s on offer:A negotiable basic salary + all the normal benefits (25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, Pension, Death in Service etc.)Access to both Flexible benefits and our annual share save scheme (15% discount on BRO shares (post probation).Full support for your professional development (including fully funded qualifications)Your experience:Broking insurance from a number of sectors such as liability, property to financial linesHandling new business quotation enquiries, renewals and mid-term adjustmentsExperience of commerce and industry and familiarity with markets and economic trendsAbility to develop and maintain business contacts and goodwillExcellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsAbility to prepare and present reportsPro-active and self-motivatedStrong planning and organisation skills to meet deadlinesAttention to detailCo-operative and supportive team playerWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
